| In 1988, Nissan
released the GQ Patrol and it soon became one of the most popular larger
four wheel drives on the Australian market. The diesel version of this vehicle
is fitted with the very reliable TD42 engine.
Very shortly after the release
of the GQ patrol, Toyota released the lHZ series of Turbo diesel engines
with power outputs superior to the Nissan.
This created a desire from
many prospective and existing Nissan owners for an improvement in the performance
of the diesel Patrol.
Dynamic Turbocharger Services,

DTS Turbosystems utilise technology
on the "cutting edge". They decided to use the Mitsubishi TD05H Turbocharger
- sharing many of its components with the World Rally proven Mitsubishi Lancer
and Subaru Imprezza Turbos - as the basis for the new product.
