Our Products - 4WD Recovery Products - Black Rat Towing Kits, Towing Hooks and Drag Chain Kits

Black Rat products have been designed with 4WD owners in mind. They aim to supply a product you can rely on when you're in trouble out in the bush (and that's when you really need it). All their range is tested to Australian Standards where applicable, and they have a nationwide back up for spare parts, plus full test and repair facilities. We know from our own tests that Black Rat are quality products - that's why we stock them.

 4WD G70 Combo Drag Chain Kit

This is one of the products most used with 4WD vehicles. To give you the full range of uses, Black Rat supplies 3 fittings - lug link, grab hook and slip hook complete with chain in a handy bucket. The chain is 5 metres long, manufactured from Grade 70 high tensile steel. It has a breaking strain of 8,000kgs and is fully tested to standard AS/NZS4344

With safety and ease of handling in mind, Black Cat have produced a 9 metre towing sling with a built in retention cord. This sling has a polyester load bearing fibre and polyester outer sleeve for extra durability. It comes with leather reinforced eyes and has a minimum breaking strain of 12000kgs.
