Black Rat products have been designed with 4WD owners in mind. They aim to supply a product you can rely on when you're in trouble out in the bush (and that's when you really need it). All their range is tested to Australian Standards where applicable, and they have a nationwide back up for spare parts, plus full test and repair facilities. We know from our own tests that Black Rat are quality products - that's why we stock them.

The Black Rat 4WD off-road block has heavy duty one piece steel side covers for ease of use and has a gold passivated finish. The sheave is made from high grade cast iron with a precise machined groove to accept 5mm to 11mm wire rope. The sheave is fitted with a pressure grease lubricated bearing.

To save our trees from ringbarking, use our polyester 3 metre x 75mm wide tree trunk protector. This protector comes with leather reinforced eyes at each end and is fully tested with a minimum breaking strain of 10000kgs.
