Hiclone
What’s A Hiclone?
Hiclone is a simple non-moving, devicemaintenance free which fits inside the air cleaner housing of a carburetor or inside the induction hose of fuel-infuel injectedl or LPG engines. Hiclone requires no engine modifications or chemicals. Designed to improve fuel economy
How Does It Work?
Most 4WD engines are less than 100% efficient when it comes to burning fuel. Over time, this leads to all sorts of problems - anything from high fuel bills to expensive engine repairs. A Hiclone unit simply changes the flow of air through the throttle body and into the combustion chamber.
The special fins on the unit create a swirling effect which atomises the fuel into super-fine vapour particles. This, in turn, allows near complete fuel combustion giving better economy.
What’s The Result?
Hiclone’s advanced air flow dynamics:
- Maximise fuel savings
- Maximise engine power output
- Minimise carbon build-up
- Minimise emissions
- Virtually eliminate engine "knocking"
Benefits Save Fuel
Hiclones swirling effect makes fuel particles finer and creates a near complete, rapid burn maximizing the efficiency of combustion with available air and fuel to reduce fuel cost.
Eliminates EFI Problems
When fuel is not completely gasified, it leads to the formation of carbon deposits and many detrimental effects can develop. The blow-by gas adhering to the throttle valve can also cause engine stall. Hiclone’s Carbon cleaning effect virtually minimises these troubles.
My car has EFI. Where does it fit?
The Hiclone unit fits in the air hose between the intake manifold and the air flow meter. You will see a hose coming off the engine housing going toward the air box. Often between the air box and the engine is what is called an ’air flow meter’. The Hiclone unit must go BETWEEN the engine and this air flow meter.
Hiclone for all Cars?
Hiclone Air Management System is available in a wide range of models to accommodate passenger cars, light & heavy trucks, motor cycles and marines. Hiclone works with both diesel-powered and gasoline-powered engines.
Do I need Hiclone?
Yes. It seems that new cars do not need one since the improvement in power and mileage can be insignificant with the installation, however, this is not true. In fact, Hiclone helps to eliminate carbon deposits from the start and makes your engine run longer.
When doesn’t it work?
In 95% of vehicles with EFI engines the HICLONE does not work close to the throttle body. The optimum is 6-8inch 15-20cm back from the throttle body. In most cases just after the airfilter is ok.
